1. From more than 20 years in the experience in the Thai teaching business, we have come to realise that most students need at least 20 lessons of 90 minutes supported by private study to be able to speak and understand Thai with a degree of confidence.

2. Lessons can be taken between 7.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. on any day the week. This means that the last lesson on any day must commence no later that 7.30 p.m.

3. If your teacher does not work out and you would like a change, we will arrange at the first opportunity a new teacher to handle your study needs.

4. Although most students opt for a home or office learning environment, an ever increasing number make use of the teaching rooms located in our Sukhumvit Office (see Map) located near to the Phrom Pong BTS station. There is no additional charge for this service.

5. Yes. We allow postponement of the lesson without a student having to forfeit the value of the lesson provided we are advised at least 1-day ahead of when the lesson was scheduled.

6. We do not give refunds for lessons not taken, although we do maintain on record all lessons that have not been taken so that students can return to their lessons at any time in the future.

7. The costs of the lessons vary depending on the number of students and the transportation required to get a teacher to a particular lesson location. Jentana discusses and agrees this aspect of the service with each student before the lessons commence.

8. Our lessons are generally restricted to the Bangkok area, although if students who live outside of Bangkok wish to come to the J&A office lessons can be arranged.

9. The largest number of students we will take in one group is 5. Generally we recommend 1-on-1 lessons, as the ability of a group to learn is driven by the slowest student. It is for this reason that students who have attempted learning Thai at a language school make the choice to learn the J&A way.

10. If you are in a Group lesson and have to skip a lesson, J&A will at no extra charge provide a teacher at their office to try and help the student catch up the lesson. It should be noted that this service is dependant on the availability of a teacher to assist in this way during office hours of 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

11. Yes. Our system of phonetic Thai may be different to others, but the results achieved by our system continually confirm the success of our teaching methods.
